Introduction

I think a more in-depth introduction about the project would be nice, especially because I don't know how long it will take for make a new post. Of course, don't forget to read the About page!

So, when I was like 11-12 years old I stumbled upon a game called Impressive Title. Unfortunately, I couldn't play as it recently shut down. However, not so long time after, a friend found out about Impressive World allowing us to enjoy the sever with a more active admins. I also played Feral Heart some time before moving into IW. I made a lof of friends in both games, so these games have a special place in my heart.

Years passed and more Impressive Title servers started to flourish, like Senctum of Eventide, Last Moon, Dragon's Den and a bunch more, some even active to this day. Sadly, after Impressive World's shut down and update, and people growning up, these games lost the spark. Me included. Servers were emptier then before; like 10 people scattered through all the world when it used to be, at least 50, or even, 200 people playing. Especially after SoE closed, too, with the promise of a revamp called Isles of Eventide that never came. Now you barely find any players on. I don't even wanna talk about Aro'kai.

I don't blame anyone, though. Things change. People (and children nowdays) are playing similar games in Roblox. I don't play Roblox so, I've been away from these types of games for (sees calendar), fuck, literally 10 years.

As you may tell by now, I'm a nostalgic person; I often live in the past and memories keep me happy. I don't recomment it, though. I've been thinking on IT for so long that I created characters and lore for it since 2018, and that is what I want to share in this blog!

The initial idea was to create an ARPG based off the world of Impressive Title named Impressiverse. It conssited on creating your own character, leveling up, boss fights and collect items to costumize your character. It was, basically, an IT sever, but without the game factor. I still kindaaa wanna do it, but I don't have the time to monitor it. I'm, sadly, a busy adult who has other personal projects in mind. But, who knows. I will develop the idea under the ARPG tag, anyway.

A collectible card set was also one of my ideas. Designing cards is part of my projects, and making an nostalgic set looked very tempting. But, again, time doesn't allow it, so the idea is still on a borad, collecting dust. I will develop it under the Card Set tag, too.

But, Why not an IT sever, then? Well, it was part of the plan back in 2013 with some friends. But servers are hard and expenssive to mantain, and it's almost no viable for the active fanbase is reduced to dust. I used to be, apart from Admin, the Event Master (basically, the lore writer), so I ended up with a lot of ideas that couldn't be implemented after me and my friends went on separated ways. When I started thinking about an ARPG back in 2018, these two list of ideas merged to create Lore for Impressiverse/Impressive Title. And this, my dear readers, is the main reason for this blog.

Many recent events in my life drove me to the conclusion of making my ideas and projects public. I found out that keeping a concept inside a box won't lead me anywhere. I can't wait for an idea to be known if I hide it, right? We have to put a creation into the world for it to be tangible and perfectible as it's the only way for getting feedback. Could be it a server, an ARPG, card set or just a concept blog, I'm just fine with this concept to see the light of day. 😌
